Privacy Policy
Your words belong to you.
Last updated: July 10, 2026
This page is maintained by the owner of Us Again to explain how we handle your personal information. Us Again is an educational relationship support tool. It is not therapy, medical care, or crisis support.
1. Information we collect
- Account info: your email address and authentication credentials.
- Content you create: check-ins, translated messages, weekly meeting notes, assessment answers, and trust steps.
- Couple link: the identifier of the shared space you belong to, if any.
- Voice input: short audio clips you record with the 🎤 button, sent for transcription and then discarded.
- Basic technical data: device/browser info and timestamps needed to run the service.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to operate the app, keep your account secure, translate and transcribe the text you submit, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal information and we do not use your private content for advertising.
3. What is shared with your partner
When you join a shared couple space, only the items you explicitly send or save into that shared space are visible to your partner. Personal check-ins, drafts, and self-assessments remain private to you.
4. Subprocessors we rely on
We use trusted third-party providers to host our database and authentication, and to perform AI translation and speech-to-text. These providers process data on our instructions solely to deliver the service.
5. Retention and deletion
You can delete individual entries at any time. From the Privacy settings screen, you can also wipe all of your check-ins and assessments, leave your shared couple space, and sign out on every device. If you request full account deletion by emailing us, your account and personal data will be permanently removed within 30 days, except where we are required to retain limited records to comply with law.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below.
7. Children
Us Again is intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, we'll take reasonable steps to notify you inside the app.
